MANO 86 (Hand 86): the hand with 80s detail. Tribute to 1986, the golden era of graphic skate.

1986 was the year skate culture exploded visually: Powell-Peralta released the "Future Primitive" video with Bones Brigade, Jim Phillips' graphics for Santa Cruz consolidated skate's visual language, and the first board art that's collector territory today appeared — the Tony Hawk Iguana, the Steve Caballero Mechanical Dragon, the Ray Barbee. That year skate aesthetics stopped being secondary to the sport and started having a life of its own.
