If the lone wolf is a myth (wolves almost always travel in packs), this composition pays tribute to reality: the canine as social animal. Wolves live in groups of 6 to 15 individuals, alpha females lead, they share the hunt, raise pups together. Strength isn't in the individual but in the coordination. Almost everything we know about mammal social behavior comes from wolf pack studies in Yellowstone since 1995.
