Description
GATO EGIPCIO (Egyptian Cat): the feline the Egyptians turned into a god.
Cats in ancient Egypt weren't pets, they were sacred. Killing one, even by accident, could get you executed. The goddess Bastet had a cat's head, pharaohs were buried with their mummified cats, and the wall paintings in the Valley of the Kings show them in hieratic pose, looking forward as if they knew something we don't.
I drew it respecting that original pose — the lateral silhouette, the stylized body, the almond eyes — but with the loose line of a sticker, not a hieroglyph. Matte laminated sticker, water and scratch resistant.
