ENGENDRO (Beast): the unclassifiable creature. What happens when too many species cross paths in a single drawing.

The engendro is one of the biggest stickers in the catalog: 23 x 12 cm of pure horizontal monstrosity. I drew it thinking about those impossible creatures from medieval manuscripts — grylli, cathedral gargoyles, fantastic animals used to warn against sins — but run through a contemporary lowbrow filter. Same visual lineage as Hieronymus Bosch's monsters in "The Garden of Earthly Delights" (1500), but with underground comic humor.
