Baboso is exactly what it looks like — a slimy, wet, disgusting, and utterly charming creature in its repulsiveness. It's the monster nobody wants to touch but everyone wants as a sticker. The dripping slime is the central element of the design: each drop was drawn with the patience of someone who understands that sliminess has its own beauty if you look at it with the right eyes. Baboso connects with the tradition of 1950s B-movie monsters where special effects were gelatin and slime and terror came from disgust rather than fear. Sticky in every sense.
