PRIMUS — FATHER DOG Black Edition

Black version of the Father Dog design I made for the opening of the Sessanta Tour in Boston (2024). The Sessanta Tour is the first of many Maynard James Keenan (Tool, Puscifer, A Perfect Circle) birthday celebrations, alongside Puscifer and A Perfect Circle. Both Boston nights sold out.

Same visual language as the original poster, but with inverted contrast: the white line on dark background has that 90s bootleg poster thing that goes perfect with the Primus aesthetic.

This Primus collaboration started earlier: in November 2022 I made the Rey Sapo / Rey Cuervo diptych for the Primus Tribute to Kings Tour in Chile, where the band played the entire Rush "A Farewell to Kings" album. Two kings at the threshold of decadence, handing over heart and brain along with their crown. Everything that came afterwards with the band was born from that work.
