The day has come! You can feel Maiden everywhere so I couldn't stay out of this celebration. Here's my humble tribute to the most badass band on the planet. And not just to Maiden but to the great Derek Riggs who has been one of the most influential artists for me (You should see my math notebooks from school). His signature is in the crosshairs; not just as an atavistic reaction to his graphic legacy, but as a symbol of direction. He's surely marked the path for several time and space travelers.
The music of Vangelis with the "somewhere in time" cello fit so well. An organic crossover for another Replicant image. I won't get stuck on "Blade Runner" because that's for another t-shirt, but I did ask my 5-year-old son what the title above said and he told me with great confidence "Iron Maiden" so I think it's clear enough.
Iron Maiden was my visual university. Before knowing that museums existed, I was already analyzing composition, color and visual narrative on Eddie's album covers. Powerslave, Somewhere in Time, Seventh Son — each album was a masterclass in illustration that shaped me without me realizing it. The tradition of metal album covers is an art genre in itself and Riggs is its Da Vinci. This design carries that entire debt, every line is a thank you to the master who taught me that graphic art could be as powerful as music. Drawn and hand-inked as it should be. Each piece is unique as there is no original piece. 100% Cotton T-shirt. Screen printed in 2 colors.

Polera y diseño de excelente calidad, la serigrafia es de un contacto muy suave, como si fuera una capa de goma. Volveré a comprar
