Description
Iron Maiden in Chile is something else. A band that crosses generations, with shows that have become family rituals.
And every good ritual needs a tee. At first I wasn't that into it, with so many shops and so much mainstream stuff around, but I gave it some thought and connected a few dots I liked to do something different, keeping the tour's Eddie and leaning into that vintage merch style that's totally my thing. Roque came with me to the shop on a Sunday morning to print, and we pulled a first run for the show.
Remember "Here's Johnny!"? Jack Nicholson smashing through a door with an axe in "The Shining". Same idea, but with Eddie: "HERE'S EDDIE!". Coming in furious, just like Maiden came into 2026 with two sold-out nights at the Estadio Nacional. 34 years after this country shut the door on them, more than 100,000 people, families and kids, celebrated the band's 50 years.
A legacy that keeps growing. IRON MAIDEN AND AN AXE TO THE DOOR. Nothing can stop the Beast.
That shut door was 1992: Maiden's first ever show in Chile, set for July 23 at Estación Mapocho on the "Fear of the Dark" tour, was cancelled after pressure from the Catholic Church. "The Shining" is Stanley Kubrick's, from 1980, the same year as Iron Maiden's debut album, with Eddie on the cover. Printed in a single ink, ochre yellow on a black tee.
Every piece is unique because there is no original piece. 100% cotton tee, screen printed in one color.
