Hard not to get fired up making a special design for Tool's visit to Chile. They've always been a huge influence on everything I've developed aesthetically.

Searching for symbolic connections with Chile, I landed on the Chilean mummies: the oldest in the world — Chinchorro mummies, 7,000 years old or more. Unlike the Egyptians, the Chinchorro made no class distinction when it came to mummifying. "Bound to recall, remember".

Sitting in the pose of eternal waiting, wearing Oculus Rift–style goggles with the band's logo, opening new spiritual states. The metaphor of the mummy waiting 8,000 years for the band: "We are spirit bound to this flesh". With 7 toes on one foot and "One foot nailed down". Pneuma.

Each piece is unique because there is no original piece.
